Di Filippo estate is in fact an integral part of the history of Umbrian wine production- the fruit of generations of winegrowers who have been passionately dedicated to their land, and have combined this passion with a vision of both organic (certified) and biodynamic cultivation- which is not regarded simply as a trend, but as a way of life- the foundation of a production which extracts the true “soul” of Umbria from the soil.

The company’s 30 hectares of vineyards lie on sundrenched hill slopes, mid-way between Torgiano and Montefalco. Here one may once again find the cultivars of traditional Umbrian wines, with Grechetto and Sagrantino, the ancestors of this story.

Thanks to the knowledge of the region Di Filippo estate is able to bring grapes into the cellar which give great satisfaction.  Continuous studies about organic cultivation and the attention they also give to the biodynamic world, allow them to experiment and research new ways of tenable farming, year after year.
